The Books that I read this week are:

Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah <Narrator: Susan Erickson>                       Read from 15th to 16th April 2018                                                                               Star Rating: 5/5 Stars                                                                                                      book information & Review Post                                                                                 I heard about this book from Jen on her channel Jen Talks Audiobooks who gave it an effusive review on her channel. This was a fantastically well written book which told the story of a Family where the mother had lived through the Siege of Leningrad during the second world war. The mother told the story of her life during the Siege bit by bit through a fairytale which she’d been telling her daughters the initial part of since they were children.         The imagery that the words created in places was amazing and was helped along the way by the skill of the Narrator, and it made me feel like I was a part of the story. Both this author and Narrator have become auto reads and listens because their both good in their fields.

The Final Empire (Mistborn 1/ ) by Brandon Sanderson <Narrator: >           Read from 28th March to 26th April 2018                                                                    My Rating:  5/5 Stars                                                                                                      book information & Review post                                                                                 I am so glad that I finally read this book which I’d heard about from several book tubers that II follow all of whom had said how great it was and they were all right. This is the first book in a multi book series and it told the story of Vin a young girl who’s an untrained Mistborn.                                                      I thoroughly enjoyed this well written book especially once I started listening to it via audible narration with my Kindle book as i felt totally engrossed in the story and world. The magic system in the book is fascinating and I can’t wait to see how it and all the character’s who I loved for different reasons develop further in future books in the series. It is for this reason that I can’t wait to get and start reading the next book, The Well if Ascension, in the series.

The Baronet’s Wedding Engagement (Royal Wedding Invitations 2/4) by Jessica Hart                                                                                                               Reading Period: Read from April 21 to 27 2018                                                         My Rating: 5/5 Stars                                                                                                       book information & Review post

This is the second book in the Royal Wedding Invitations series by various authors in which continues the story of Hope and Jonas’s Wedding planning/organization as well as Max (Hope’s Brother) and Flora’s (one of Hope’s Best friends and Bridesmaids) story. I loved the fact that although the engagement between Max and flora started as a fake one for the sake of the Crown Princess it became a real one in the end.  I enjoyed this book more than I did the first one, as in this one unlike the other one there were no extra words in sentences – which when it happened in the first book and drew me out of the story.                                                                                                 It was great being back in the world of an upcoming Royal Wedding and with the characters from the first book as well as meeting the new characters introduced in this book. Having read this book I know I want to read more books by this author as I enjoyed her writing style.                              This book is a lovely short little contemporary romance and it fits in to the contemporary romance very well

Ω

Days of Blood and Starlight (Daughter of Smoke and Bone 2/4) by Laini Taylor <Narrator: Emilia Fox>                                                                                    Read from 12/3/17 to 19/4/18                                                                                      Star Rating: 5/5 Stars                                                                                                      Book Information and Information Post                                                                    As soon as I had finished the previous book in this series (Daughter of Smoke and Bone) and was able to get hold of this book I started reading it. I again got the audible narration with the kindle book as I know that this is the way that I am going to read all the books in this series.                                           The combination of Laini’s writing and Emilia’s Narration meant that I was thoroughly engrossed in the story and plot, and strong belief in the characters. I can honestly say that I love Laini’s writing so she has become an auto read author as well as due to the skill of the narrator she has become an auto listen narrator.                                                                                                  This book fits well in to the YA Paranormal Fantasy Romance genre so I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading books from these genres.
